My Teaching in Edinburgh
My teaching methodology is tailored to individual learning styles, creating engaging and personalised lessons that inspire creativity and foster musical growth. Through guidance, I cultivate impart an infectious appreciation for music in pupils, empowering them to explore and excel at their musical growth. When I instruct pupils, I aim to convey what music means, instilling awareness and an acute ear for the way it sounds, functions and performs.
My Background, & How I Became A Music Teacher
I first came to music through a personal love for it, which motivated me to explore the different ways it can be produced. I explored different instruments, creative platforms and outlets, deepening my understanding of how music is made and what it can offer the listener. My insight developed through my experience, focused on finding ways to be involved with music that gained me a sense of connection.
Genre, Style & Performance
Bass? Guitar? Ukelele? Banjo? DJ training? My 1-1 lessons teach you to develop in your chosen area of interest elaborately, developing alongside new techniques, software and methods. Having taught for 15 years, I work closely with individuals to hone in on practice in a way that works for them, recognising their specific interests and finding ways to progress their personal artistic strands specifically.
