I started bass lessons as a complete beginner 3 months ago, and my progress has been really fast! The lesson are well structured, adapted to my learning pace and Dario makes the lessons funny, yet he is quite demanding, which is good. His studio is amazing too, and very central.
Dario's an absolutely wonderful guitar teacher. Really thorough and patient when it comes to teaching both playing techniques and theory. He also goes the extra mile with suggestions and things to work on between sessions which has been great for me. Thanks to his encouragement and direction I feel that I'm beginning to make real progress.

I’ve always found value in the way sound can speak to us the way language can, using different levels to convey certain moods or atmosphere in order to make us feel a certain way. Kalandraka Music is founded on this ability, offering students the opportunity to engage with music in a way that’s creative, stimulating and vibrant.
My teaching methodology is tailored to individual learning styles, creating engaging and personalised lessons that inspire creativity and foster musical growth. Through guidance, I cultivate impart an infectious appreciation for music in pupils, empowering them to explore and excel at their musical growth. When I instruct pupils, I aim to convey what music means, instilling awareness and an acute ear for the way it sounds, functions and performs.
I first came to music through a personal love for it, which motivated me to explore the different ways it can be produced. I explored different instruments, creative platforms and outlets, deepening my understanding of how music is made and what it can offer the listener. My insight developed through my experience, focused on finding ways to be involved with music that gained me a sense of connection.
Bass? Guitar? Ukelele? Banjo? DJ training? My 1-1 lessons teach you to develop in your chosen area of interest elaborately, developing alongside new techniques, software and methods. Having taught for 15 years, I work closely with individuals to hone in on practice in a way that works for them, recognising their specific interests and finding ways to progress their personal artistic strands specifically.
To me, learning more about music means learning more about yourself. As you play, you start to understand the way you think, feeling through music in ways that respond to your thoughts.
